Reviews and Ratings
The Derby Hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms but with decor reminiscent of the early '70s. The staff is friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. The location is perfect, especially for skiing enthusiasts, with easy access to the main lift and a great view of the ski resort. However, the dining experience could be improved, and the decor is a bit outdated.
The hotel rooms are not luxurious but always clean, which was perfect for the 4 of us, in 3 different locations. We arrived at the main building with a balcony. The service is very friendly, perfect for children and adults alike, and the hotel has a perfect location for ski enthusiasts. The dining experience could be improved considering the room price. The facilities are good.
The hotel had spacious rooms perfect for our group of four, located in three different buildings. Although basic, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was not very helpful with transport and provided incorrect bus timetable information, causing us to miss our flight, but they did bring us some bread and jam. The location was fantastic for accessing the lifts and walking into town. The dining experience left much to be desired considering the price, and there was an additional charge for room service. Overall, the facilities were adequate.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the decor felt outdated. The staff was friendly, which was great, but their energy was a bit lacking. The location was perfect for skiing, but the dining experience was subpar.
The Derby Hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms are occupied by a lady, which might lead to some inconvenience. The service is friendly but lacked enthusiasm. The location is excellent but has some drawbacks. The dining experience leaves room for improvement. Overall, a decent choice with some areas needing attention.
